Howto 6 – List of Strengths & Talents You May Have
Posted by Michael Hartzell
Before we get into the meat, here is a list of possible strengths & talents which could be on your list.
I hate to throw a long list out here ... (long lists can seem daunting) but sometimes we get stuck and just need a nudge. Maybe a menu can solidify the confidence?
Before you read a book, attend a class, sign up for a membership, attend a university....
Know the big picture and what you will need to learn.
Understand the topics and as Stephen Covey says: Begin with the end in mind.
The fun part? Next time I will have a list of skills needed for a variety of different businesses.
(Do you remember when you played match the picture when you were young? Yep, we are going to have some fun!)
Below is a list of skills that just might be on yours.

There is no shame if you can only sing, dance and juggle!!!
You are unique and special no matter what skills you have. (I guarantee it!)
I have helped people become successful with little money and skill. Their ability to recognize who they were, what unique skills & talents they possessed, and where their "paradise" was, helped them to overcome barriers and become a success. Perseverance (p word), Prioritizing (p word) and Focus were the determining factors.
Yes, the list you see above is all mixed up. Did that on purpose!
Yes, the list above appears to have some overlap. Did that on purpose too!
Order your list from your strongest skill at the top to weakest on the bottom and get ready for the next step.
Bet you are getting tingly just waiting for the next post where we match these up!
If you feel you are advanced beyond this point.... here are reminders:
- You need to connect with people. Building a list, twitter, facebook, meetups (such as biznik) and SubscriberVirus will help.
- Once you have a list and invite them to visit your website, be sure to have something like Ultimate Footer Ad to improve your conversions.
AND now... drum roll please.
To show how YOUR talent may have more value than you think, and could turn into something cool.... here is a video:
(If you do magic or juggle .... or even knit! Everything counts!)
