Restaurant Marketing Ideas with a Kindle
Posted by Michael Hartzell
Interested in great restaurant marketing ideas? What would happen if you wrote a Kindle book? Then each page on the Kindle could have a recipe, an offer, a special occasion, or some other reason to celebrate. What would happen if your Kindle book was all about reasons to celebrate at YOUR restaurant? What would happen if the title of your Kindle book was the name of your restaurant? Or maybe named after the keyword phrase you wanted to be found on the Internet for? For your next great restaurant marketing idea, what would happen if you use the latest and greatest technology to get found by people who are already searching for you? What would happen if you kept the same principles of making every guest's experience be amazing AND set your restaurant in a position to be found by those who had not yet heard of you?
The sign on the street may be valuable but a very low investment and some innovation with titles / keywords for a Kindle book title might just get you on top of the search engines.
Wonder would happen if you actually took the Kindle for a test drive and dedicated 30 minutes a day to write your very short Kindle book.
The best part? Unlike traditional advertising, it doesn't go away! You can add more and more books. Just like the phone book (there used to be just one) you can add Kindle book after Kindle book which does nothing but talk about your products, your specials, your community, and your staff. If you talked about gluten free, awards, celebrities, allergies, chocolate, Angus beef, corn fed beef, Chinese food, (you pick) what do you suppose would happen?
Personally I like this Kindle DX Wireless Reading Device (9.7) much better than the smaller version. Did you know it can hold 3,500 books and is only 1/3" thick? It boasts 3G wireless speed and can actually read the book to you.
