I was all set to say something disparaging about the evidence; but when I discovered that it had been published in PubMed, a medical database, I was stopped in my tracks. 
 
On this blog, look to the upper right of where it says "Vitamin D" and click on the vertical "show me" button. It will take you to another page that is interactive. It's very cleverly done and well worth a visit.
