Who is a publisher?  Every entrepreneur is a publisher.  A website, blog, press release, emails are all methods of publishing.  If the reality of this has not sunk in yet, it may be a good time to count the number of words you and your team will write this year.

500 words a day x 240 days for the year = 120,000 words.  This would account for only one person writing emails, blog articles, fliers for advertising and possibly press releases.

The internal correspondence from within a company has potential for becoming published.  For a business NOT to consider the option to re-purpose internal communication could be considered a waste.

Going head-to-head with a competitor which has more advanced methods such as DFP for advertising products and services might create a perpetual uphill battle for business success.

Fortunately there are a couple of simple tutorials to give the entrepreneur a head start.

How to Setup Google DFP on your Site – A Tutorial from  Digital Inspiration

  • Are you an entrepreneur?
    • Then you are a publisher.
  • Do you have someone on your team who can harness this tool?
    • Competitors will harness this resource and move past you with sales and profit.
Not for the faint of heart and definitely for the more advanced.

Happy Anniversary to DoubleClick For Publishers.
