I love to share this type of information with business owners.  That is because it is free, from one of my favorite companies, and all about inbound marketing.

Social media tools allow a business to extend themselves beyond arms length to connect in a larger circle and do it more conveniently. 
If a business does not show strength with offline planning and execution, there is little chance of social media helping much. 
That is where the breakdown happens. When companies who are marginal try to be amazing with social media.  
After that? Focusing seriously on the vision of assisting those who are searching for answers. The social media tools allow for fast and easy communication and keeps it personalized.
